A visual journey through the stars and constellations of the night, their stories and mythology, from some of the most singular astronomical viewpoints, located in the centre of the island at 1.300 m altitude. Aided with telescopes we will observe those celestial objects visible at night, like nebulas, star groups, planets and maybe the moon. Everything explained in simple and easy to understand terms, suitable for all ages. At the end of the tour, you will get an “astroselfie” (picture with stars in the background) as a memento.

When you look at the sky and fixate on a star, if you feel chills under your skin, don't cover yourself, don't look for warmth, it's not cold, it's just love.

Are you a group and want a private observation in english with an astronomer? Are you a couple and want to treat yourself to a special gift? Request a customized tour that suits your needs.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

Meeting point:
Due to the peculiar climate of the island, the meeting point may vary. Therefore we create a (WhatsApp) group to inform you where the activity will take place. If you don’t have WhatsApp, we send you an SMS.

Transport:
At all times, you need to have your vehicle. Transport is NOT included.

Placer:
“Llano del Jable” (West side of the island) or “Llano de La Venta” (East side of the island)Mirador de Los Andenes (Roque de Los Muchachos) , depending on the weather conditions.

Recommendations: bring enough warm clothing and something to eat (picnic)

Languages: usually 2 languages (spanish and english).

CHANGES and CANCELLATIONS:

1.- Changes and Cancellations by the company:

The Company reserves the right to cancel or modify the conditions of the guided tour due to reasons beyond its control or causes of force majeure.

Changes or cancellations may be made by:
Weather alerts, landslides or ice on road.
For unforeseen maintenance
For not reaching the MINIMUM number of visitors, established at 6 people.

Cancellation will be communicated to you as soon as possible. Check your email and mobile phone
An alternative date will be proposed (subject to availability) or the full amount of the ticket will be refunded.

2.- Changes and Cancellations by the customer:

For no cost, changes may be requested, subject to availability and with prior notice, up to 72 hours before the visit. Subsequently, later changes will not be accepted.
Cancellations 72 hours before the visit, 50% of the refund will be withheld by management. Otherwise, there will be no refund.
